The Word of God says that the fool has said in his heart there is no God. He doesn't regard the Almighty God, or acknowledge Him in any way. He totally rejects who God is. And do you know why? Because it is so easy to say there is no God and feel that they are not accountable to a Holy God. If they say He doesn't exist, then they feel they don't have to obey Him. That is why the Bible calls that kind of a person a fool. How can anyone look at the wonders that God has put all around us, the great lofty mountains that loom up towards the sky in all of their glory; the colors, some red, some black, some white with snow; some covered with beautiful wild flowers; who can truthfully behold the majesty of God in His handiwork and say there is no God? We are all proof that there is a living God.
Just take a good look at these bodies we live in. Everything in a beautiful perfect order, functioning and coordinated together. Imagine what you would look like if your toes were growing out of your head, or one eye was on your hand and the other on your foot? Or what if your leg was were your nose is, or if God had made your mouth in the middle of your back? Yes, it was God our Creator who put us together and we are His handiwork. "I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Psalm 139:14. It was no big bang, or something that came out of the ocean and evolved into human beings. One would have to be mindless to believe such foolishness. Every time someone sets out to prove that there is no God, they end up proving that He does truly exist, and that He always has been; that He is from everlasting to everlasting.
God is a God of order and He has great plans for each one of His creations. He created us to do great things for His glory; and no matter what path we take, what choices we make, good or bad; God's plan will stand. We have to submit to the will of God if we want to live the abundant life that Jesus died to give us. He created us in His own image and gave us dominion over everything that He created. (Genesis 1:26). But man relinquished his dominion and gave it to another (Satan). Because of his great love for His creation, God sent His Son Jesus Christ, to die for the sin of man; thereby setting things back into His order. As we receive the finished work on Calvary, God once again sees us as a part of His majestic handiwork. "Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they existed and were created." Revelation 4:11. ESV.
