"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1.
When God has a mission for us and wants to move us to another level, He moves us out of our comfort zone, and we may find that we have to fight some tough battles. Our enemy doesn't care how he takes us out as long as he thinks he's going to win. But in the midst of the battle God sends us help. No enemy we face is too big for God to handle.
How many of you know that God always has a plan? He knows just how He is going to help us win the battle, all He asks is that we trust Him and let Him do it His way. We can't pick and choose who we want to teach and train us. God is the One Who does the choosing, it's His plan and He knows just how to work it out. There are things that God has us go through and we may feel it is senseless and meaningless. "Why do I have to follow all these rules, it doesn't take all of this to be what I want to be; this teacher doesn't know as much as I know"; and all the time, we are talking about the Holy Ghost, Whom God has sent to help us. We have to learn how to come down and be humble under the leadership of our Teacher; we have to get it on the inside before it can be manifested on the outside. The Holy Ghost has to teach us the Beatitudes (beautiful attitudes) recorded in Matthew 5th chapter, before they can be manifested in our lives as the "Fruit of the Spirit" in Galatians 5th chapter. And all the time God is working things out for our good!!! He is moving us up to another level.
We don't have to fear no matter how hard the test may seem: whether it is sickness, lack of finances, broken relationships, wayward children; the same Holy Ghost is with us to help us. When we are most weak, God shows Himself strong on our behalf. All He wants is for us to trust Him. The Holy Spirt will teach us techniques that the enemy can't handle. "We are more than conquerors, through Him that loved us." Romans 8:37. "Through God we shall do valiantly, for He it is that shall tread down our enemies." Psalm 108:13. Against all odds, He will make us to come out victoriously! God fully equips us for the battles we have to face. He lets us fight them or He fights them for us; either way, we win!
