I remember the day in July of 2001, when my doctor let me know that I had been diagnosed with beast cancer. When she told me, it didn't phase me at all because I have trusted Jesus to be my Healer so many times and I knew He wouldn't fail me then. When the surgeon saw how calm I was, he wanted to know if I really understood what they were saying, and I acknowledged to him that I did understand. On the day that I was scheduled for surgery, as I was being prepared for the surgery in the operating room, I told the doctors that I wanted to pray for them before I went to sleep. They acknowledged that they were glad to have me pray and that no one had ever done that for them before. Needless to say, the surgery went well and just a lump was removed. I went back to work a couple of days later and was scheduled for radiation treatments three times a week for a short period of time. I would leave my job on my lunch break, go for the radiation treatment, and go back to work. Praise God, I had not complications, no burning from the radiation (which many of the women experienced), no chemotherapy, no hair loss, no medication, just total healing. I had my yearly mammogram recently and the radiologist felt they needed to look more thoroughly, so I received a call to have it done again. After the second mammogram was completed, I was escorted to ultrasound. After the technician did the ultrasound, the doctor came in and she did it again. The whole time all this was being done, the mammograms and the ultrasound, I kept saying out loud to myself, "There is nothing to find because I am healed by the Blood Stripes of Jesus, He healed me over 2000 years ago, He healed me in 2001 and I am still healed, there is nothing to find." After all was done, the doctor came in and said, "There is nothing there, you are clean." I said, "Thank You, Jesus!" Jesus said, "According to your faith be it unto you." I believe the Word of God and I trust Jesus to be Who He says He is, in my life. He is Jehovah Rapha, The God Who Heals and He is true to His Name. When these fiery trials come in our lives we must put our faith to work and act upon it. Don't doubt, don't waver, stand strong in your faith, trusting God all the way through.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28.
