God Will Turn It Around

By Barbara J. Scott
It doesn't matter how dark your path may seem to be, hold on to your faith. Joseph never blamed God for the hard times he experienced, he continued to trust Him to bring him out. The Bible doesn't even say anything about him hating his brothers for what they did to him. Instead, he let God use him right where he was.
God Will Turn It Around

Joseph was Jacob's son by his wife Rachel.  Joseph was Jacob's favorite son and he didn't mind letting his other sons know it.  Joseph also had dreams which were really prophecies from God, concerning his brothers and father bowing down before him.  This made his brothers hate him and they end up selling Joseph to some Ishmeelites who were on their way to Egypt.  Things really looked bad for Joseph, but God had a plan for him. (Read Genesis chapters 37 & 39).  In spite of Joseph being falsely accused and thrown into prison for a long time, God turned it around, gave him great favor, and raised him up to a high position in Egypt, where he was able to help many to survive a famine, including his father, his brothers, and all their family. "And Pharaoh said unto his servant, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shall be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt." Genesis 41:38-41.

And because of his obedience and love for God, never turning his back on God, God turned things around for Joseph and blessed him abundantly. He is the same God who will work in your situation and turn things around for you.  Trust Him with all your heart and believe His Word. "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" Jeremiah 32:27.

God is no respecter of persons and He doesn't love Joseph anymore than He loves us.  He will do the same for any one of His children. "What shall we then say to these things' If God be for us, who can be against us?"  Expect God to turn it around for you, for your good and for His glory!
