The Fruit of Faith

By Evangelist Vera Robinson
Faith is a choice. Every Christian on this earthly pilgrimage will come face to face with Faith choices. Some choices will really test the depth of your Faith.
The Fruit of Faith

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1)

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend the 100 in Pink Annual Luncheon.

I heard amazing and compelling testimonies.  One young man in his late twenties or early thirties shared his story.  He stated that his oncologist informed him that his chemotherapy treatment would take a year to complete.  When he heard the amount of time it would take to complete the recommended treatment, immediately, he spoke and said "I cannot do a year."  The oncologist explained that the type of cancer would take at least one year of chemotherapy to effectively treat it.

The young man spoke with authority and faith to the oncologist saying, "It will not take a year."  I can recall him entering his prayer closet eyes filled with tears to have a talk with Jesus.  When he came out of his prayer closet, again, he spoke with authority and faith: "It will not take a year."

He refused to be swayed to believe the scientific time frame, instead he chose to believe Jehovah-Rapha, the Healer and the One Who makes bitter experiences miraculously sweet.  He started his chemotherapy treatments on July 31st and completed his treatments on September 31st.

He activated his faith and believed Jehovah-Rapha when there was no physical proof.  The doctors were astound with the progress and amount of time.

Faith is a choice.  Every Christian on this earthly pilgrimage will come face to face with Faith choices.  Some choices will really test the depth of your Faith.

Don't fear, it is God who establish faith in your heart as you believe His promises.  Trust God even when the outcome or prognosis is not favorable.  Trust Him to strengthen and help you in everything that lies ahead of you.  "Everything is possible for one who believes"(Mark 9:23-24).  Take God at His Word - even though His promises have not yet manifest.- you will reap the Fruit of your faith.

Have your faith been tested?  Share the Fruit of your faith. We would love to hear your testimony.  "And they overcame them by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony" (Rev 12:11)
